These terms govern your use of the Giveaway Widget service provided by Jen Built It LLC ("we"). By creating an account, you agree to them.
You are solely responsible for the legal compliance of every giveaway you run — the official rules, eligibility, prize fulfillment, taxes, disclosures, and the privacy notice shown to your entrants, in every jurisdiction your entrants live in. Jen Built It LLC provides software, plus optional rule and privacy-notice templates and suggestions as a convenience only. We are not your lawyer, we do not review or approve your giveaways, and our templates are not legal advice. Have a qualified attorney review your giveaway before you run it.
1. The service
Giveaway Widget lets you create and embed giveaways on your own websites and collect entries. We provide the software and hosting; you are responsible for the giveaways you run and the prizes you offer.
2. Your responsibilities
- Run your giveaways lawfully, including all applicable sweepstakes/contest, marketing, tax, and privacy laws in the jurisdictions where your entrants live.
- Provide accurate official rules, eligibility, and a privacy notice to your entrants.
- Award the prizes you advertise. We are not the sponsor of your giveaways and are not responsible for prize fulfillment.
- Keep your account credentials secure and don't misuse the service (no spam, fraud, scraping, or attempts to break security or bot protection).
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for illegal lotteries, deceptive promotions, harassment, or any content that violates applicable law or third-party rights. We may suspend accounts that do.
4. Plans & billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Specific pricing and renewal terms are shown at checkout.
5. Availability
We work to keep the service available but provide it "as is," without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
